Au fil d’un été, de jeunes amis découvrent leurs forces créatives tout en composant avec des peines de cœur. Ben et Seb deviennent amis pendant qu'ils suivent un cours donné par un artiste qu'ils admirent. Seb s’éprend de l’artiste, tentant sans succès d'exprimer ses sentiments. De son côté, Ben doit décider s'il retourne dans son pays d'origine pour aider sa sœur Jasmine à s'occuper de leur père vieillissant. Letty et Stanley, deux autres étudiants, ont du mal à définir leurs ambitions et leurs relations. L'histoire est racontée à travers une série d'épisodes fantaisistes dans un style visuel minimaliste.

Over a summer, young friends discover their creative paths while dealing with nostalgia and heartbreak. Ben and Seb become friends while taking a course taught by an artist they both admire. Seb falls in love with the artist and tries unsuccessfully to express his feelings to her. Meanwhile, Ben must decide whether to return to his homeland to help his sister Jasmine care for their aging father. Letty and Stanley, two other students, struggle to define their relationships and ambitions. The story is told through a series of whimsical episodes in a minimalist visual style.
